The Championship 2020

The Championship 2020 is a unique triathlon race which is part of the international CHALLENGE FAMILY triathlon series that will take place on 30–31 May 2020. This event will be attended by triathletes who qualify in the Challenge Family qualifying race.

TryAthlon (Saturday 30 May 2020)

The TryAthlon disciplines were adjusted to shorter distances so that anyone can join.

  • 300 m swim in a 50-m pool
  • 13 km cycle ride
  • 3 km run (sand and grass, concrete)

Olympijský triatlon (Saturday 30 May 2020)

The Olympic Triathlon distance is designed for more experienced triathletes and sportsmen in good physical condition. If you don’t feel like competing as an individual, you can form a relay team with your colleagues, family members or friends and get first-hand experience of this world-class event.

  • 1,5 km swim
  • 40 km cycle ride
  • 10 km run (sand and grass, concrete)

Sprint (Saturday 30 May 2020)

The new discipline SPRINT is designed especially for athletes who prefer speed over endurance. This discipline is open for both individuals and relay teams consisting of colleagues, family members or friends and is a great opportunity to have first-hand experience of this world-class event.

  • 20 km cycle ride
  • 5 km run (sand and grass, concrete)

Middle Distance Triathlon  (Sunday 31 May 2020)

The middle distance is designed for the most experienced triathletes and sportsmen who have experience with Olympic distances. If you don’t feel like competing as an individual, you can form a relay team and compete on the same track as the future world champion.

  • 1,9 km swim
  • 90 km cycle ride
  • 21,1 km run (sand and grass, concrete)

Kids run (Saturday 30 May 2020)

Let your child try out a professional track and run a distance proportionate to his or her age and skills.

Categories:

  • Age 3–5, 150 m
  • Age 6–7, 300 m
  • Age 8–9, 600 m
  • Age 10–12, 800 m
  • Age 13–15, 1200 m

Starting fee: €6

Kids aged 3–5 compete for free
